If a Mac user has installed an Oracle Java 7 or 8 VM on his/her machine, the DrJava Mac app will not work because it invokes the Apple Java launcher rather than the Oracle Java launcher. Cisco UCS Manager and Java 8 - can't connect to a server console Recently I updated Java on my Windows 8 PC from v7 to v8. After that I discovered that I was unable to connect anymore to Cisco UCS Manager due to security reasons (the certificate is not trusted, we can't let you connect to that extremely dangerous site, and even don't ask for it. If you're using Chrome, the file 'JavaForOSX2014-001.dmg' will start downloading in a pane at the bottom of the window. When it's finished, click the dropdown menu (the. Q47584 is the latest update on this that I can find for you. There is also a manual Java download page for Adobe currently Version 8 Update 60, August 18, 2015). That is especially useful for Windows LO users using 32-bit LO on a 64-bit Windows (Java version needs to match LO version).

Hi. I can't seem to get the LibreOffice Base to work on my Mac running Yosemite 10.10. (iMac early 2009). Everything else seems to be working fine, except for Base. I keep getting the error message:
*'The connection to the data source 'New Database' could not be established. No Java Installation could be found. Please check your installation.'*
![]()
I downloaded Java for OS X 2015-001 from the Apple Support page (link is https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572?l... ), and that was seemingly installed without any problems. I then restarted the computer and opened of Base, and keep getting the same error message.
Should I be installing the Java found in the Apple Support Page? Or, should I be installing the Java from this link: https://www.java.com/en/download/mac_... .
If it doesn't matter which link I download Java from, then how do I get Java to run so that I can use Base?

Thank you.
